About the Group
The Ashford Craft & Home Economics Guild is one of eight groups that come under the umbrella of the East Kent Federation of Women’s Institutes.
Many members of Kennington WI join Guild meetings, which are held on the third Monday of each month at Kennington WI Hall, beginning at 2pm (no meeting in December).
The Guild hosts an interesting and varied programme of speakers and activities. In previous months, we have enjoyed speakers covering subjects such as “Plants that Heal”, “Theatre costumes”, “Kennington in the Second World War” and “Packing your suitcase for a holiday”.
We also host an annual outing and enjoy a lunch out.
