About the Group
Our Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month between 2.00 and 3.30pm. It is run for members who are interested in sharing the joy of reading.
We adopt a slightly non-traditional approach at our book group, recognising that all reading the same book and discussing it together doesn’t work for everyone in today’s busy world. So, we invite short reviews of books by individual members, usually ones they have enjoyed and want to recommend. But an honest book critique is encouraged so it is also allowed to be less positive. Of course, we try to achieve all of this without giving away the book endings!
Members are welcome to bring along books that others can take away to try … and the group always enjoys refreshments together during the meeting!
