Kennington WI’s Gardening Group began seven years ago for members who not only liked gardening but visiting local gardens as well. We now have around 22 members and during the winter months we have various speakers talking on gardening topics. During the summer we visit lovely gardens in Kent, as you can see from the photos. The afternoon ends with tea and cake – of course!
Our Summer Garden Party is held at a member’s house and includes a ride around the garden on her husband’s miniature train!
We have a varied programme for 2019 and would love to see new members join the group!
